Vintage Masonry Repair Workshops
From bungalows to greystones to workers cottages, Chicago neighborhoods are defined by brick and stone buildings. However, many homeowners are uncertain of how to best maintain and repair their vintage masonry homes. Presented by Mario Machnicki of Marion Restoration, this free workshop will cover topics including: common masonry deterioration problems; identifying priority repairs; best practices for cleaning and repointing; and establishing a scope of work for rehab projects. With over 30 years of experience, Mr. Machnicki has been featured in This Old House and The Chicago Tribune.
